LDS is dedicated to making Seychelles an exemplary democratic state which guarantees freedom within the rule of law, full democratic rights and the prosperity and well-being of all Seychellois. It has charted this path over four decades, to establish modern democratic institutions and effective government.  These principles were the foundation for its term in Government from 2020 to 2025.

 

Today, our country faces once again oppressive rule, abuse of power and the confusion of political interests with the conduct of government.

Our freedom and constitutional rights are again under threat.
